I recently designed and developed a site for my good friend Brandon Aviram. The goal was to create a sleek and minimal portfolio site to let his photos shine. Click through and check out his work.

Delivering on that promise to get new work up in this hizzouse. This is a video I did for the BFA show at Uconn which deals with my interest in Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi’s concept of flow. As humans, we enter this state of flow when we become so involved in an activity that the entire world melts away. We forget both time and space, and our focus essentially becomes that activity. Hours pass like seconds and we engage in a kind of motion that is unlike anything else. I believe that it is this motion which embodies the beauty in life. It is this motion which transcends biology in favor of the true human experience. I became interested in understanding what brings flow to myself as well as others. To find out, I distributed a questionnaire to friends, family, and strangers. Some could identify an activity within seconds, and others had literally no idea what I was talking about. Tickling Ivory is a literal representation of one of the collected activities which brings flow to others. Enjoy!
