Flow / Tickling Ivory DVD Packaging

I decided to create some dvd packaging which would house my Tickling Ivory short and process book. For this reason, the drawings on the outside of the case are in the style of my process sketches which ultimately lead me to develop the concept for the animation. I wanted the outside of the packaging to be relatively subtle in such a way that it beckons to the viewer to find out more. Once opened, the flow of the cover typography integrates with a triptych of patterned graffiti style drawings which exemplify how I experience Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi's concept of flow.
