Freud and Friends

Illustrations for a project in which we were asked visualize a historic or contemporary personality with a pet of choice. I decided to depict Freud and personify his "pets" based on his concepts of the id and superego. The cat represents the mischievous id, and the fish represents the wise superego. I could have gone with something a bit more straight forward like an owl, but I wanted to switch it up.
