The design I did for The Parting Gift's CD Packaging. My intention was to create a very minimal design in accordance with how I perceived the band's name. A parting gift is something small, yet meaningful. An object stripped of extraneousness, leaving only the most potent representation of human emotion. It is a gift which may bring about great ambivalence, possibly invoking both a heavy sorrow and a wellspring of joy at the same time.
